Welcome to Makassar! Upon arrival at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport, our team will greet you warmly and begin the scenic overland journey to Toraja (approx. 8–9 hours). Along the way, we’ll make a short stop at the Habibie Ainun Love Monument in Pare-Pare, a meaningful landmark dedicated to Indonesia’s former president and his beloved wife. We’ll also pause for a relaxing coffee break at Gunung Nona, a highland area offering breathtaking landscapes. Upon arrival in Toraja, enjoy dinner at a recommended local restaurant before checking in at your hotel for rest.

After breakfast, begin your cultural journey through Toraja. First, visit Ke’te Kesu, a traditional village known for its iconic Tongkonan houses and unique hanging graves. Continue to Londa, an ancient burial site featuring cave graves and wooden effigies called Tau-Tau. After lunch, head to Lemo, where impressive cliffside burial sites and ancestral statues await. In the afternoon, visit the towering Jesus Christ Statue at Buntu Burake, offering sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Return to the hotel in the evening to rest.

Continue to Lo’ko Mata Stone Graves, where giant boulders have been carved into traditional tombs. The day concludes with a visit to Pallawa Traditional Village, home to beautifully preserved Tongkonan houses that showcase Toraja’s rich heritage. Dinner will be served at a local restaurant before returning to the hotel.

Next, visit the 99 Domes Mosque, an architectural gem, followed by a stop at Losari Beach, an iconic waterfront perfect for photos and soaking in the coastal views. After enjoying lunch, you’ll be transferred to Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport for your departure.
